Porsche Taycan 2021-2024 Overview

The Porsche Taycan was the brand's first fully electric sports sedan, combining a low-slung four-door body with Porsche's focus on performance and handling. Its cabin featured a digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment, premium sports seats and a clean dashboard with multiple displays, while selected versions offered a passenger display and high-end audio.
The India range included single- and dual-motor versions with battery packs of 79.2kWh and 93.4kWh, with outputs ranging from around 322 bhp to 617 bhp depending on the variant.
The Taycan used a two-speed gearbox on the rear axle and offered all-wheel drive on dual-motor versions. Claimed range for the India-spec range was around 431-452km. Features included adaptive air suspension, Porsche Torque Vectoring and multiple drive modes.
Safety equipment included multiple airbags, lane-keep assist, parking assistance and a reversing camera.
This generation was discontinued in India in July 2024 when the updated Taycan arrived.
