The Kia EV6 was a fully electric vehicle sold in India. Kia officially discontinued this model in March 2025. During its time on sale, the company issued a recall for 1,380 units. These cars were built between March 2022 and April 2023. The recall was for a software update to the charging control unit.
This model was stopped because it did not meet new government safety and crash norms. A new version of the Kia EV6 is now available for buyers. While this older version is no longer in production, it remains a common sight on Indian roads.
Used car buyers can still find this model in the pre-owned market today.

This model was very fast and could go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.2 seconds. On a full charge, the car offered a driving range of up to 708 km. It supported very fast charging using a 350 kW DC charger. This allowed the battery to charge from 10 to 80 percent in only 18 minutes. The car used a modern 800-volt system to manage electricity efficiently. These parts made the car perform well on city roads and highways.

The interior of the Kia EV6 focused on a clean and open layout. This car offered a flat floor which gave more legroom to all passengers. It featured two large 12.3-inch curved screens on the dashboard. One screen showed the speed and driving data, while the other worked for music and maps. The Kia EV6 used recycled materials and vegan leather for the seats to help the environment. Owners got a 14-speaker sound system and 64 colors for the cabin lights.
