Hyundai Tucson Facelift Overview

The Hyundai Tucson facelift, with its heavily camouflaged test mule recently spotted in South Korea, signals a significant design shift for the mid-size SUV. The prototype shows a boxier, more upright silhouette with a muscular front profile, suggesting a bolder stance compared to the outgoing model.

Expect updated front and rear styling elements, including parking sensors, cameras, and possibly digital side mirrors, along with aero-optimized wheel designs on thicker tyres.

For the Indian market, the Tucson is likely to carry forward a familiar powertrain lineup. This includes a 2.0-litre petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine, both paired with automatic transmissions. All-wheel drive may appear on higher trims.

Inside, the cabin should feature Hyundai’s latest Pleos Connect infotainment system with a large touchscreen, improved connectivity, and an intuitive interface. Meanwhile, safety is expected to include a comprehensive suite of features typical of recent Hyundai SUVs, such as multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and ADAS.
