BMW 5 Series 2021-2024 Overview

The BMW 5 Series (2021-2024) combined traditional three-box proportions with a spacious, technology-focused cabin. It featured LED or adaptive LED headlights, BMW’s signature kidney grille, alloy wheels and a refined interior with leather upholstery, digital displays, three-zone climate control, electrically adjustable seats, ambient lighting and wireless smartphone connectivity.
Indian versions included the 530i petrol, 520d diesel and 530d diesel. The engines produced 252 bhp and 350 Nm, 190 bhp and 400 Nm, and 265 bhp and 620 Nm, respectively, with all models using an 8-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive.
Safety equipment included multiple airbags, ABS, DSC, parking assistance, a rear-view camera, tyre-pressure monitoring and various driver-assistance systems.
The generation was discontinued in India in 2024 when the newer 5 Series was introduced.
