The Aston Martin DB11 was a fast sports car sold in India. It launched with a big V12 engine and two doors. The last known price for the car was 3.97 crore rupees. It was discontinued as it did not meet new safety and crash rules. This model is no longer on sale. The DB12 is now the replacement for the Aston Martin DB11.

Engine and Performance

The Aston Martin DB11 came with very strong engines. Buyers could choose between two big petrol engines. The first one was a 5.2-litre V12 engine with two turbochargers. This motor produced about 600 horsepower. It helped the car reach 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds. Later, a smaller 4.0-litre V8 engine was also added to the range. This V8 motor made around 503 horsepower. Both engines used an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The car sent all its power to the rear wheels. This model did not have any electric battery or motor because it was a pure petrol car. It focused on high speed and quick gear shifts. The top speed of the V12 model was 322 kmph. This made it one of the fastest cars in its time. The engine sound was very loud and clear.

interior

The Aston Martin DB11 has a cabin made for comfort and speed. Inside, this model features a 2+2 seating layout with soft leather on the seats and dashboard. There is a large 12-inch screen for the driver to see speed and other car data. For music and navigation, the car uses an 8-inch center screen. Many of the buttons and software come from Mercedes-Benz, making them easy to use. The gear controls are unique buttons located on the dashboard. This model offers dual-zone climate control and a 360-degree camera to help with parking. While the front seats have plenty of room, the two rear seats are very small and best for children or luggage. The boot space is around 270 liters, which fits two small bags. Everything inside is built by hand with great care.

exterior

The Aston Martin DB11 has a low and long body. The Aston Martin DB11 looks sharp with a big front grille and LED headlights. It uses 20-inch alloy wheels that look very large on the road. The roof has a unique shape that slopes down toward the back. This model has hidden door handles that pop out only when you need them. At the back, it has slim C-shaped tail lights and two exhaust pipes. The car is 4.7 meters long and about 1.9 meters wide. It sits very close to the ground, which gives it a sporty look. This model came in many bright and metallic colors. The outside parts are mostly made of aluminum to keep the weight low. Every part of the car is designed to let air flow smoothly while driving.

competition

The Aston Martin DB11 faced competition from several fast and expensive cars in India. One of its main rivals was the Bentley Continental GT, which offered a similar mix of power and luxury. Another strong competitor was the Ferrari Portofino. Many buyers also compared this model to the Lamborghini Huracan because of its high price of nearly 4 crore rupees. The Porsche 911 Turbo S was another alternative for those looking for great speed and performance. Additionally, the Mercedes-AMG S-Class Coupe was a rival in this luxury segment. All these cars had very powerful engines and could reach high speeds quickly. While the Aston Martin DB11 had a unique look, its rivals provided different driving experiences. Buyers usually chose between them based on brand name and design. These models all targeted the same small group of wealthy car buyers.
