The Aston Martin DB11 was a fast sports car sold in India. This model came with large V8 and V12 petrol engines. Production of the car ended in June 2023 to make way for the new DB12. The V12 version cost about 4.20 crore rupees. It offered 2 seats and gave a mileage of 8.9 kmpl. New safety rules also led to its exit from India.

Engine and Performance

The Aston Martin DB11 came with two large petrol engine choices. The first option was a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine. This engine produced 600 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. The second option was a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. It was sourced from Mercedes-AMG and made around 503 bhp. Both engines used an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The car sent all its power to the rear wheels only. This model could reach a top speed of over 300 kmph. In India, the V8 variant offered a mileage of nearly 8.9 kmpl. The DB11 was built for high speed and quick acceleration. These engines made the car very fast on open roads. Every version used a front-engine layout to balance the weight. Owners liked the loud and deep sound from the exhaust pipes while driving.

interior

The Aston Martin DB11 has a cabin made for 2 people. The seats use high quality leather with hand-stitched patterns. There is a 12-inch digital screen behind the steering wheel to show speed and other data. Another 8-inch screen sits in the middle of the dashboard for music and maps. This model uses buttons and switches that are easy to touch. The car also comes with cruise control for long drives. There is a lot of space for the driver and the front passenger. However, the rear seats are very small and best for carrying extra luggage. The car feels very quiet inside even when driving at high speeds. This model has many storage spots like a center box and door pockets. Everything inside the car is built with care using strong materials like metal and wood. It makes every journey feel special and comfortable.

exterior

The Aston Martin DB11 had a very low and wide body. This car looked like a fast sports car with two doors. It featured a large front grille and sharp LED headlights. The body of this model was made of lightweight aluminum to keep it strong and light. One special design point was the hidden air vents near the rear windows. These vents helped the car stay stable at high speeds. The car came with 20-inch alloy wheels that filled the wheel arches well. The door handles were flat against the body and only came out when needed. At the back, it had thin C-shaped LED tail lights. The roofline was very smooth and curved down towards the trunk. This model was about 4.7 meters long and 1.9 meters wide. Its shape helped in moving through the air easily while looking very fast.

competition

The Aston Martin DB11 faced strong competition from other fast luxury cars in India. Its biggest rival was the Bentley Continental GT, which offered similar power and luxury. Another main competitor was the Ferrari Roma, which many buyers liked for its speed and style. The Maserati GranTurismo was also a popular choice in this high price range. Most of these cars cost between 3.8 crore and 4.2 crore rupees. This model competed by offering both a V8 and a large V12 engine. While the Bentley was more comfortable for long trips, this car felt more like a sports car. Some people also looked at the Lamborghini Huracan, though it was much louder and lower. All these rivals had very powerful engines and could reach high speeds quickly. Each car offered something different for rich buyers who wanted a fast and special vehicle.
