Tata Motors is set to unveil the production-ready Sierra EV on June 30, 2026, marking the next major addition to its growing electric vehicle portfolio. First revealed as a concept at Auto Expo 2020 and later showcased in an updated form at Auto Expo 2023, the Sierra EV will be positioned between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in Tata's lineup.
The Sierra EV was spotted plenty of times recently undergoing tests, including a recent sighting. Built on Tata's acti.ev+ platform, the electric SUV is expected to share several components with the Harrier EV, including 65kWh and 75kWh battery pack options.
Tata has already confirmed that both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions will be offered, with the larger battery likely reserved for AWD variants.

Inside, the SUV is expected to offer a feature-rich cabin with up to three screens, including a digital instrument cluster, infotainment touchscreen and passenger display.
Other likely features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, premium audio system and multiple drive modes.
Expected to be priced between ₹18 lakh and ₹25 lakh, the Sierra EV will rival models such as the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV and Maruti e Vitara.
