Skoda India has released a CG teaser video for the Slavia facelift ahead of its launch tomorrow, 18 August, giving the first close look at several exterior details of the updated sedan.
What the teaser reveals

The current Slavia's chrome window surround continues on the facelift, but the teaser shows it with a cleaner, more refined execution along the quarter window. The tail lamp moves away from the current car's design to a deeply geometric LED structure with sharp angular cuts and a rich red illumination against dark gunmetal bodywork. A clear step up at the rear.
The Skoda winged-arrow badge appears on the bonnet in a slightly subdued, darkened chrome finish compared to the brighter treatment on the current car. The alloy wheels also change significantly. The existing multi-spoke silver design gives way to a chunkier five-spoke gunmetal pattern, visible in a separate teaser frame showing a white colour option.

What to expect at the launch
Spy shots point to a reworked front grille, revised headlamp internals, new fog lamp housings, and a restyled bumper. The current L-shaped LED DRL signature is expected to be sharpened up as well.
Inside, a larger 10.25-inch digital driver's display is likely, along with revised upholstery and front parking sensors. Rear seat massage from the Kushaq facelift remains unconfirmed for the Slavia.
The 1.0-litre TSI automatic gains a new 8-speed torque converter in place of the current 6-speed unit. Both the 115hp 1.0 TSI and 150hp 1.5 TSI engines otherwise carry over, the latter keeping its 7-speed DCT. A modest price increase above the current Rs 10 lakh to Rs 18.19 lakh range is expected, with official figures due tomorrow.
