Every Tiago EV variant uses a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor paired with a fully automatic drive transmission, along with City and Sport drive modes and 4-level multi-mode regenerative braking.
The battery system is liquid cooled and protected to IP67 standards. Charging support remains standard with CCS2 compatibility, a portable charging cable, and an included 3.3 kW AC wall box, while also supporting 7.2 kW AC charging and DC fast charging.
Dimensionally, all versions measure 3825 mm in length, 1677 mm in width and 1535 mm in height, with a 2400 mm wheelbase, 240-litre boot space and 5.1 m turning radius.
Tiago EV also has front disc and rear drum brakes, and 175/65 R14 tyres.
Warranty coverage remains common too, with 8 years / 1,60,000 km for the battery and motor and 3 years / 1,25,000 km for the vehicle. Do note that the lifetime warranty is only available with the 24 kWh battery pack and is applicable to the first owner only
19.2 kWh Battery Pack
The 19.2 kWh Tiago EV is the more affordable and efficiency-focused setup in the lineup. It produces 45 kW (60.35 hp) and 110 Nm of torque and accelerates from 0–60 km/h in 6.2 seconds. Tata claims a 223 km MIDC-certified range, while realistic mixed-use driving is expected to deliver around 160–170 km depending on traffic, driving style and AC usage.
Charging from 10–100% using standard home AC power takes roughly 6.9 hours, while a 7.2 kW AC charger reduces this to around 2.6 hours. DC fast charging from 20–80% takes approximately 30 minutes, while 10–80% charging takes around 35 minutes.
24 kWh Battery Pack
The 24 kWh Tiago EV is aimed at buyers prioritising stronger performance and higher range. Output increases to 55 kW (73.76 hp) and 114 Nm, improving 0–60 km/h acceleration to 5.7 seconds. The larger battery delivers a 293 km MIDC-certified range, with practical real-world usage generally falling around 205–215 km.
Charging times are naturally longer than the smaller pack, with 10–100% home AC charging taking about 8.7 hours and 7.2 kW AC charging requiring roughly 3.5 hours. DC fast charging from 20–80% takes around 30 minutes, while 10–80% charging takes approximately 35 minutes, helping make longer-distance charging stops manageable.
