Maruti Suzuki has officially started accepting bookings for the upcoming Brezza facelift ahead of its launch on July 23. Interested buyers can reserve the compact SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000 through Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships or the brand's official website.
The updated Brezza marks the first significant refresh since the second-generation model debuted in 2022.
Subtle Exterior Updates
The Brezza facelift is expected to receive mild cosmetic revisions rather than a complete redesign. Expected changes include redesigned LED headlights with updated DRLs, revised LED taillamps, refreshed front and rear bumpers, a tweaked grille, and a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels. New exterior paint options could also be introduced.
More Premium Cabin And Features
Inside, the Brezza is likely to get a more upmarket cabin with leatherette seat upholstery, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and a larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Maruti Suzuki is also expected to add a 360-degree camera and an upgraded connected car suite on higher variants.
One of the biggest expected additions is a Level 2 ADAS package, bringing features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, and high beam assist, making the Brezza more competitive against rivals.
Turbo-Petrol Engine Could Join The Lineup
The biggest mechanical update is expected to be the introduction of Maruti Suzuki's 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine. The three-cylinder turbo unit produces 99 BHP and 148 Nm of torque and is expected to be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. An automatic transmission could also be introduced at a later stage.
Maruti Suzuki is expected to retain the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology, along with the factory-fitted CNG option, giving buyers a wider choice of powertrains.
