BMW Group India is gearing up for an aggressive expansion in the Indian luxury car market, with plans to introduce 14 more products and expand its retail network to 50 cities by the end of 2026.

The move comes after the company recorded its best-ever first-half sales performance, reinforcing confidence in its long-term growth strategy.

"We will launch 14 more products and expand our retail presence to 50 cities by the end of calendar year 2026."

Brar added that the company's aggressive product offensive has delivered the desired results.

“All the products we have launched this year have been sold out, giving us confidence that our aggressive product strategy is paying off.”

Alongside expanding its product lineup, BMW will continue investing in its dealer and service network.

By increasing its presence to 50 cities, the company aims to improve customer access to sales and after-sales support while tapping into demand from Tier 2 and emerging luxury car markets.

The expansion is expected to play a key role in strengthening BMW's footprint beyond major metropolitan cities.

Luxury SUVs and EVs Driving Growth

BMW's strong sales momentum has been supported by rising demand for premium SUVs, long-wheelbase luxury cars and electric vehicles.

The company has steadily expanded its EV portfolio in India with models such as the iX1, i4, i5, i7 and iX, while performance-oriented BMW M models have also gained popularity among enthusiasts.

With 14 more launches still planned this year, BMW is looking to further strengthen its position in India's luxury vehicle segment and maintain the record sales momentum it has achieved in 2026.
