All The Best Features Of Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq

The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq brings several technology and cabin upgrades over the earlier BE 6. While the exterior design remains largely familiar, Mahindra has focused on improving the interior experience, personalisation, connected technology and entertainment features.

 The Sporteq also introduces a new set of TEQ technology suites that bring functions not available on the earlier version.

1. New Triple 12.3-Inch Screen Setup With New Dashboard

The most noticeable change inside the BE 6 Sporteq is its new triple 12.3-inch screen setup. The outgoing BE 6 used a dual-screen layout, while the Sporteq adds a third display to create a wider, three-screen cockpit on applicable variants. The additional display gives the front passenger a dedicated screen and adds more functionality to the cabin. It is arguably the most visible upgrade that separates the Sporteq from the earlier BE 6.

2. TEQ_Talk With Google Gemini

The BE 6 Sporteq introduces TEQ_Talk, bringing Google Gemini-powered conversational technology into the vehicle. The system allows occupants to interact with the car using more natural voice-based conversations rather than relying solely on conventional commands. 

This is a significant software addition to the BE 6's connected experience. Mahindra has also said that Google Gemini will be rolled out to existing Mahindra electric SUVs through an OTA update from January 2027.

3. TEQ_Me Driver Personalisation

The new TEQ_Me system adds a personalised experience for different drivers. It can recognise the driver and load their individual profile, reducing the need to manually configure preferences each time someone gets behind the wheel.

 This can be particularly useful for families where a single BE 6 is shared by multiple drivers. Instead of treating every user the same, the Sporteq is designed to adapt the experience according to the recognised driver.

4. TEQ_xting Personalised Tailgate Messages

The Sporteq also introduces TEQ_xting, which allows owners to personalise the message displayed on the LED tailgate. The outgoing BE 6 already featured its distinctive illuminated tailgate treatment, but the Sporteq adds greater customisation to the system.

 Owners can use the display to show personalised messages, giving the electric SUV a more interactive and lifestyle-oriented feature.

5.New Drift Mode

The Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq introduces a dedicated Drift Mode as part of its new TEQ_Drive technology suite. While the outgoing BE 6 could be made to drift thanks to its rear-wheel-drive layout and strong electric torque, it did not feature a dedicated selectable Drift Mode. 

The Sporteq adds this function as a factory-integrated driving mode, alongside Custom Drive Mode, Tribe Drive and Acceleration Boost, giving drivers greater control over the SUV's performance characteristics.

6. Revive SOS Emergency Charge

One of the most useful additions is Revive SOS, an emergency charging function designed for situations where the battery reaches zero. Mahindra says the system can provide enough emergency energy to allow the BE 6 Sporteq to travel up to 13km towards the nearest charging station.

 The company says the feature can be used up to five times during the battery's lifetime. It is intended as an emergency backup and not as an alternative to regular charging.

7. New Karaoke and Gaming Functions

The Sporteq expands the entertainment experience with new karaoke and gaming functions. These features make greater use of the vehicle's connected infotainment system and the additional passenger-facing screen.  There is also a Private Audio function, which lets you connect individual pairs of headphones.

8. New Exterior Colours

The BE 6 Sporteq also gets two new exterior colour options, Ruby Velvet and Graphite Storm. These are among the visual changes introduced with the Sporteq, although the overall exterior design remains unchanged from the outgoing BE 6.

Graphite Storm is particularly notable as it is offered on the Launch Edition, giving that version a distinctive exterior finish. 

The new colours are accompanied by Sporteq badging, while the SUV continues with its existing design elements such as the flush-fitting door handles, LED lighting and panoramic glass roof.
