Hyundai has released a new teaser video of the next-generation i20, giving us a good glimpse of some of its design elements. The hatchback is expected to make its global debut at the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The teaser revealed a significantly revised front and rear design, with new headlamps and taillights, featuring connected LED lighting at both ends.

At the front, it shows Y-shaped LED daytime running lights joined by a full-width light bar, along with sleek projector headlamps. The rear features boomerang-shaped LED taillights connected by another light bar, giving the car a bold and wide stance.

The new i20 is expected to have a sharper and more upright look overall.

In India, the i20 is likely to continue with the current 1.2-litre petrol and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engines, paired with manual and DCT gearbox options. The cabin is expected to be feature rich, with updates like a dual-screen setup, a 360-degree camera, and advanced safety features.
