Suzuki is yet to announce launch plans or pricing. This showcase was mainly aimed at gathering customer reaction and feedback.

Local production will be needed to make it competitive in India’s price-sensitive market. For reference, the Burgman 400 is priced at £7,199 in the UK (₹9.1 lakh), while its rival - the BMW C 400 GT, is priced at ₹11.25 lakh here.

Following the success of the Burgman Street 125, a positive response could see Suzuki introduce a new premium maxi-scooter segment in India.
