The Sorento is Kia India’s new flagship three-row SUV. It is offered with a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol strong-hybrid system paired to a 6-speed automatic, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine paired to an 8-speed DCT. Both powertrains are available with AWD. It comes in 6 and 7-seat layouts, and features dual 12.3-inch displays, a panoramic sunroof, Bose audio, Level 2 ADAS, 10 airbags and Kia’s AI voice assistant. It rivals the Fortuner, Kodiaq, Tayron and Meridian.

Sorento

The Kia Carnival (2020-2023) MPV delivered genuine luxury in a van-like body, seating seven to nine with powered sliding rear doors and a premium cabin. Its 2.2-litre diesel and 8-speed automatic made it effortless on the highway. Discontinued in June 2023 after three years, it was replaced by the fourth-generation Carnival, which returned in October 2024 with V6 petrol or petrol-hybrid powertrains and a majorly updated design.
