The Renault Kardian is a sub-compact SUV developed primarily for emerging markets, including Latin America, where it has been on sale. An India launch has not been officially confirmed by Renault India as of now, despite widespread speculation.

Globally, the Kardian measures approximately 4.12 metres in length and rides on the CMF-B platform. It is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 120PS and 220Nm, paired with a 6-speed DCT in higher trims.

Feature highlights on the global model include an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver's display, 8-colour ambient lighting, wireless charging, and auto AC. Safety includes six airbags, ESC, a 360-degree camera, and an ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking.

If confirmed for India, it would slot between the Renault Kiger and the new Duster, rivalling the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, and Maruti Brezza.
