The Nissan Micra Active was a more affordable, feature-trimmed version of the Micra, powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine making 68 bhp. Sharing its powertrain with the Datsun Go, it was discontinued in May 2020 after Nissan decided not to update the model for BS6 norms. There was no replacement for it.

The Nissan Micra was a premium-positioned hatchback, offered with a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine in its later years. The fourth-generation Micra, first launched in India in 2010, was discontinued in May 2020 when it could not meet BS6 emission norms. It was not replaced with a successor in the Indian market.

The Nissan Magnite (2020-2024) was available with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, with the turbo variant offering a CVT option. It was discontinued in 2024 and replaced by the facelifted Magnite with updated styling, revised features, and a new 5-speed AMT for the NA engine.
