Nissan GT-R Overview

The Nissan GT-R was one of the most performance-focused cars to be sold by Nissan in India. The R35 arrived here as a CBU and used a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 producing 570hp and 637Nm, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic and an all-wheel-drive system. It could accelerate from 0-100kph in around three seconds.
Despite its supercar-rivalling pace, the GT-R remained a four-seat coupe with a usable rear pair of seats and a fairly conventional cabin layout. Its appeal was largely centred around the powertrain, launch-control capability and the sophisticated all-wheel-drive system rather than outright luxury.
Nissan discontinued the GT-R in India in 2022, and there was no direct replacement announced for the Indian market. The global R35 production subsequently ended in 2024.
