The MINI Cooper Convertible 2015-2023 was the open-top version of the third-generation MINI hatchback, with four seats and an electrically operated fabric roof. It retained MINI's compact proportions, circular headlights and familiar upright stance, while the cabin featured the brand's circular central display, sports seats, automatic climate control, ambient lighting and connected infotainment.

In India, the Cooper S Convertible used a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 189 bhp and 280 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive. It could accelerate from 0-100 kmph in around 7.1 seconds.

Safety equipment included multiple airbags, ABS, stability control, traction control, tyre-pressure monitoring and parking assistance.

This generation was discontinued in India on 7 February 2023. The newer MINI Cooper Convertible has since returned to the Indian market.
