The 2020-2023 MG Hector Plus was essentially the three-row version of the Hector, but MG gave it a different front and rear design to distinguish it from the five-seater. It was sold with six- and seven-seat layouts, depending on the configuration, while the powertrain choices included a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel.

The six-seat layout used captain chairs in the second row, while the third row had 50:50 split seats that could be folded when not required. Its equipment list included ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, automatic climate control, connected-car functions and a panoramic sunroof. The older Hector Plus also had three-row USB charging provision and a large touchscreen-based infotainment system.

It was discontinued as MG moved to a newer version of the Hector Plus range.
