Land Rover Range Rover Velar 2017-2023 Overview

The Range Rover Velar was a five-seat luxury SUV positioned between the Evoque and Range Rover Sport. Its minimalist exterior featured slim LED headlights, flush door handles, a floating roof and clean body surfaces.
The cabin was similarly minimalist, with dual touchscreen displays, a digital instrument cluster, premium leather, panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control and electrically adjustable seats.
On the powertrain side, India-spec engines included 2.0-litre petrol and diesel units and a 3.0-litre diesel, producing between 177 and 296 bhp and up to 700 Nm. An automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive were standard.
The Velar also offered electronic air suspension, Terrain Response and configurable driving modes.
Safety features included multiple airbags, ABS, stability control, blind-spot monitoring, lane assistance, parking sensors and a surround camera.
The first-generation Velar was discontinued in India in 2023.
