Engine and Performance
Engine and Performance
The Force One used a strong diesel engine for its power. This engine was a 2.2-litre unit that came from Mercedes-Benz technology. It produced around 141 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. The car came with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This setup helped the large SUV move easily on different roads. Force Motors also offered a smaller 2.6-litre diesel engine in some base models. This version made less power but was very reliable. The Force One gave a mileage of about 11.6 kmpl. This was decent for a vehicle of its size and weight. The car used a rear-wheel-drive system to handle heavy loads. Later, the company even added a four-wheel-drive option for better grip. This combination of a powerful engine and manual gears made this model a solid choice for long highway trips and village roads across India.

competition
competition
The Force One faced very tough competition from several large SUVs in India. Its main rivals were the Mahindra Scorpio and the Tata Safari Storme. Both these models were very famous and had many service centers across the country. The Mahindra XUV500 was another big challenger for the car during that time. While this model offered a large cabin and a good engine, most buyers preferred the Mahindra or Tata brands. These companies were well-known and offered more trust to Indian customers. With a price near 11.65 lakh rupees, the SUV had to fight hard for every sale. The Scorpio and Safari were common sights in both cities and rural areas. This constant pressure from rivals made it difficult for the car to find enough buyers. Eventually, low sales of only 3,008 units against these established rivals led to the end of this model in the market.
