Fiat Palio Stile Key Specifications
Fiat Palio Stile Overview

The Fiat Palio Stile was launched in India in April 2007 as a heavily revised version of the Palio. It received updated styling, a redesigned interior and a more modern equipment package while retaining the basic Palio platform.
The initial range included a 1.1-litre FIRE petrol engine producing 57 PS and a 1.6-litre petrol engine producing 100 PS in the Sport version. Fiat later added a 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel producing 75 bhp, making the Stile one of the smaller diesel hatchbacks available at the time. All versions used a five-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive.
Features included power steering, central locking, fog lamps and engine immobilisation, while higher versions received additional equipment.
Despite the updates, the Palio's ageing design and declining sales eventually led to its discontinuation in India around 2011.

competition
competition
The Fiat Palio Stile faced strong competition in the Indian market between 2007 and 2011. Its main rival was the Maruti Suzuki Swift, which was very popular for its fuel efficiency and wide service network. Another big competitor was the Hyundai Getz, which offered a lot of cabin space. The Hyundai i10 also competed with this model by offering modern looks and a low starting price near 3.20 Lacs. For buyers looking for diesel engines, the Tata Indica was a tough rival. The Chevrolet Aveo U-VA and Ford Figo were other cars in the same segment. While this model had a strong 1.6-liter petrol engine and a 1.3-liter diesel motor, many buyers preferred the Maruti Swift because of its 12.4 kmpl to 13.8 kmpl mileage and easy repairs.
