Ferrari GTC4Lusso Overview

The Ferrari GTC4Lusso was a four-seat grand tourer with a three-door shooting-brake-style body, designed to combine long-distance comfort with Ferrari performance. It featured a wide front grille, sculpted sides, dual circular tail lamps and a spacious cabin with a dual-cockpit layout and 10.25-inch touchscreen.
The V12 version used a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 690 bhp and 697 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and Ferrari’s 4RM all-wheel-drive system. Rear-wheel steering, E-Diff, F1-Trac and electronic stability control were also part of the package.
The car could reach 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and had a top speed of 335 kmph, while its boot offered up to 800 litres with the rear seats folded.
The GTC4Lusso got phased out of production in August 2020, and stopped selling in India around the same time.
Engine and Performance
Engine and Performance
The Ferrari GTC4Lusso came with two powerful petrol engine choices. The first option was a 6.3-litre V12 engine. This engine produced 681 hp of power and 697 Nm of torque. It used an all-wheel-drive system to move the car. This version could go from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.4 seconds and reached a top speed of 335 km/h. The second version was called the GTC4Lusso T. It used a 3.9-litre V8 turbo engine. This engine made 602 hp and 760 Nm of torque. Unlike the V12 version, the V8 model sent power only to the rear wheels. It had a top speed of 320 km/h and was very fast. Both models used a 7-speed automatic gearbox for quick gear changes. This model did not have any electric motors or batteries for driving. It relied purely on strong petrol power.

The Ferrari GTC4Lusso has a cabin made for 4 people. This car has 4 individual seats that offer good comfort for long drives. The dashboard has a large 10.25-inch touchscreen in the center for music and maps. One unique part is the small display screen on the passenger side. This screen shows the speed and engine data to the person sitting next to the driver. The steering wheel holds many important buttons like the turn signals and the start button. This makes it easy for the driver to control everything without moving their hands. For luggage, the car provides 450 liters of space in the back. You can also fold the rear seats to get 800 liters of total storage. The inside of this model uses leather and metal parts to give it a neat look.

The Ferrari GTC4Lusso has a special body style called a shooting brake. This model looks like a very fast and low hatchback with 2 doors. At the front, the car features a very long bonnet and sharp LED headlamps. There are large air intakes on the front bumper and sides to improve airflow. The car has a length of 4922 mm and a width of 1980 mm. Its roofline is 1383 mm tall and slopes gently towards the rear. This model uses 4 round tail lamps and 4 exhaust pipes at the back for a sporty look. The wheelbase measures 2990 mm, which helps it stay stable at high speeds. This car combines the looks of a sports car with the useful shape of a small wagon. The design is clean and focuses on speed. It uses large alloy wheels to complete the look.
competition
competition
The Ferrari GTC4Lusso was a fast four-seater car that faced competition from several famous brands. Its biggest rival was the Bentley Continental GT. Both cars were built for long trips and had large engines. The Aston Martin DB11 was another strong competitor with a similar V12 engine and two doors. Some buyers also looked at the Porsche Panamera Turbo. The Porsche offered four doors and more space for passengers. In the Indian market, expensive SUVs also became rivals for the GTC4Lusso. Many people chose the Lamborghini Urus instead because it could handle bad roads better. Even the Rolls-Royce Wraith was a choice for those who wanted a large two-door car. This model was unique because it had four-wheel drive. However, most rivals offered more comfort or better ground clearance. Ferrari later replaced this car’s spot with the Purosangue SUV to compete better in this segment.
