The Bentley Mulsanne was a large luxury sedan made by the British company. Bentley Mulsanne first arrived in 2010 and stayed in production for 11 years. During this long period, the brand sold more than 7,300 units globally. The car used a famous 6.75-litre V8 engine that provided great power. In India, the last recorded price for this model was approximately 5.56 Crore rupees. The company decided to stop making the car in June 2020. This happened because the model could not meet the latest safety and crash test rules. The final version was a special model called the 6.75 Edition by Mulliner. Today, this model is no longer available in showrooms. Buyers can only find it in the used car market. It was the top sedan from the brand for a decade before production finally ended.

The Bentley Mulsanne was a large sedan sold between 2010 and 2020. This model was made for 11 years. It used a big 6.75-liter V8 engine and sold over 7,300 units globally. In India, the car cost about 5.56 Crore. Production ended in June 2020 with a special final version. It was the most expensive vehicle for the British brand.

Engine and Performance

The Bentley Mulsanne used a very large and powerful petrol engine. This model came with a 6.75-liter V8 engine that had two turbochargers. The engine produced about 512 horsepower and a very high torque of 1,020 Nm. There was also a more powerful variant called the Mulsanne Speed. That model made 537 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque. The car used an 8-speed automatic gearbox to shift gears smoothly. All the power from the engine went to the rear wheels only. This big engine helped the car reach high speeds quickly despite its heavy weight. This specific V8 engine was famous because Bentley used its basic design for many years. This model did not use any electric motors or batteries for power. It relied completely on its large petrol engine for performance before production ended in 2020.

interior

The Bentley Mulsanne offered a lot of room for its passengers. The car used soft leather and real wood on the dashboard and doors. It had large seats that could move in many directions. People in the back could even get a massage while traveling. This model had an 8-inch screen in the middle for the driver. It also came with a powerful sound system that had 14 speakers. The cabin was very quiet and blocked most of the outside noise. Passengers in the rear could use small folding tables made of wood to work or eat. It had a four-zone air conditioner to keep everyone cool. This car was designed to give the best comfort to its owners. Every part of the cabin was put together by hand. It was a very large and spacious car inside.

exterior

The Bentley Mulsanne is a very long and large sedan. It measures about 5,575 mm in length and 1,926 mm in width. This car has a classic look with large round LED headlights on the front. It features a big stainless steel grille that looks very bold. The body is made of aluminum to keep it strong. This model comes with large wheels, usually 20 or 21 inches in size. The door handles and window frames use real polished metal instead of plastic. At the back, the car has two large exhaust pipes and simple oval tail lights. This model was available in over 100 different paint colors for buyers to choose from. Every unit was built by hand, which took about 400 hours to finish. It looks very grand and traditional on the road today.

competition

The Bentley Mulsanne faced strong competition from other top luxury cars in India. Its biggest rival was the Rolls-Royce Phantom, which also offered a very high level of comfort and hand-made details. Another major competitor for this model was the Rolls-Royce Ghost. While the Phantom was usually more expensive, many buyers compared these two brands before making a final choice. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class was also a key rival for the car. This model provided many modern systems and a very smooth ride for a lower price. Some buyers also looked at the Aston Martin Rapide, though it focused more on speed. In the Indian market, these few cars were the main choices for people who wanted a large sedan costing over Rs. 5 Crore. During its 11 years on sale, the car always competed closely with Rolls-Royce for the top position.
