Audi revealed the Q9 globally in July as its largest-ever SUV, positioned above the Q8 as the brand's new flagship, spiritually replacing the A8 sedan.

In India, it is expected sometime between the second quarter and second half of 2027, likely locally assembled to keep pricing in check, with likely petrol-only lineup for the market.

Globally, the Q9 offers three-row seating for up to seven, twin-turbo V6 petrol and diesel engines with mild-hybrid assistance, quattro all-wheel drive and a three-screen digital cabin.
