Tata was one of the first carmakers to start the all black trend which caught on quickly and has since became staple of every carmaker's line up in one way or the other like Monte Carlo for Skoda or Knight Edition for Hyundai, and Black Edition for Nexa.
The upcoming Tata Curvv Dark Edition will be a murdered out a special variant of the top-spec Accomplished trim. It will debut as the upcoming IPL car with Vicky Kaushal likely as brand ambassador.

Mechanically, the Dark Edition Curvv should remain unchanged. As per a leaded advert you can see above, Buyers can choose between a 1.2-litre Hyperion T-GDi turbocharged petrol engine (123 HP and 225 Nm) and a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine (116 HP and 260 Nm), both paired with a DCA gearbox,.
Interestingly, despite being called a Dark Edition, we can clearly see the diamond cut alloy wheels , chrome model and brand name. Which defeats the purpose of Dark Edition a bit. Maybe it will change in the final avatar of Curvv when it will be fully revealed sometime around 22 March, when the 2025 IPL debuts.
The ad also mentions "Stronger Supplies" of Tata's Diesel engine which could mean that Tata has sorted it supply chain issues.
Set to be unveiled as the official car for the 2025 IPL season, the Tata Curve Dark Edition is expected to hit showrooms soon and could cost around half a lakh more than the standard range Curvv Accomplish which retails for about 17 lakhs.
