Honda is set to launch the third-generation Amaze in India on 4th of December 2024. However, just a week before the launch, a few photos of the all-new Honda Amaze went viral online.
So, How The New Generation Honda Amaze Does It Look?
As per the photos, the 3rd-generation Honda Amaze will carry a fresh design language inside-out, but it is not as flashy of an upgrade as the newly launched Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

The new Amaze carries its earlier bonnet styling, but the front fascia has been updated to match Honda's current design language. It gets a double barrel headlamp setup, both of which are fully LED. However, these are reflector-based only.
The front grille is now more prominent, covering a larger portion of the radiator than before. It feels similar to the Honda Elevate's front fascia in terms of a design base.
The bumper looks broader than before, and you also get a pair of LED fog lamps.
On the side, the body lines are mostly similar to those of the earlier generation of Honda Amaze. However, the new Amaze gets a set of new alloy wheels inspired by the City's multi-spoke alloy wheels, and these look phenomenal!

At the back, you'll notice it is trying hard to look like the outgoing Honda City. The tail-lamp design is very much inspired by the City. However, unlike the City, the Honda Amaze feels slightly taller from the back. It carries more of its boxy design from the 2nd-generation Amaze, and you will miss the slanting design of the more expensive City in here.
Inside The All New Honda Amaze!
We have also received a few interior images showing the dashboard, rear AC vent, and the doors from inside.

About the dashboard, it is typical Honda philosophy to keep everything simple. However, the buttons have been updated, and they look quite premium. You have a large touchscreen display in the middle, and by the looks of it, it could be a 7" or 8" setup.
The interior is a mixture of beige and black elements, making the car feel a bit more spacious than usual.

The door-trim photograph shows you'll get a cloth treatment on the armrest. However, a more noteworthy point is that the rear door gets a tweeter. Usually, we've seen the front row getting a set of tweeters, but the Honda Amaze also gets a pair of tweeters in the second row.
Hence, expect a 6-speaker & 4-tweeter setup in the top-of-the-line trim at least.
How Does The New Honda Amaze Stand Against The Dzire 2024?
Earlier this month, Honda shared a few sketches of the upcoming Amaze's design, which was a hit even during the Dzire's 5-star safety rating celebration.
Looking at the actual images, it feels like it was overhyped at the time of the sketch release. However, one thing that the Honda Amaze does the best is keeping everything simple. Those not looking at a Maruti Suzuki product in the future will certainly be happy to get along with the upcoming Amaze.

Overall, we hope Honda has done a great job in terms of build quality, power delivery, and efficiency, as they always do. However, the Japanese brand must go aggressive with Maruti Suzuki this time if they want to make a mark.
We expect the New Generation Honda Amaze to be priced around 8 lakhs this time, while the top-end models might touch the 12 lakh mark. It will be available in both a manual transmission and a CVT automatic. Honda is likely to make some key upgrades to the powertrain for better efficiency and ease of use, but expect no major changes in mechanicals.
“A lethargic attitude in the Indian market is always ready to take a company downwards. Even giants like Maruti Suzuki had to bow down to safety, to stay relevant in the market.”
