The third-generation 2025 Audi Q3 is set to debut in India in 2026, introducing a sharper mix of style, technology, and performance in the premium compact SUV space. As Audi’s entry-level luxury SUV, the Q3 will play a crucial role in strengthening the brand’s footprint in India, where it has always been a strong contender.
Expected to launch next year, it will rival the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA with an estimated starting price of about ₹50 lakh
Exterior Design
The 2025 Audi Q3 follows Audi’s latest design language with a sportier stance and bold proportions. At the front, it sports a wide honeycomb-patterned Singleframe grille, paired with a split-headlamp setup. The upper cluster integrates slim pixelated LED daytime running lights, while the lower Matrix LED headlights provide adaptive illumination for better safety and visibility.

In terms of size, the Q3 has grown slightly, measuring 4,485 mm in length (40 mm more than last gen), 1,856 mm in width, and 1,617 mm in height with a 2,680 mm wheelbase. This makes it more spacious while retaining the compact agility required for India’s crowded roads.
The side profile carries muscular wheel arches, body-colored side skirts, and a sleek window line sweeping over the D-pillar. Buyers can expect 18-inch alloys as standard in India, though global models will offer 17 to 20-inch options. At the rear, the SUV features sharp split tail-lamps with customizable light signatures, a sculpted bumper with hidden exhaust tips, and an illuminated Audi logo.
A panoramic sunroof, roof rails, and roughly 170 mm of ground clearance make it practical for Indian roads, while body styles will include both the traditional SUV and the Sportback coupe-like version.
Interior Features

The cabin of the 2025 Q3 features an 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster alongside a 12.8-inch infotainment system running Android OS. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and over-the-air updates, making it highly user-friendly for Indian buyers. A three-spoke steering wheel with touch-sensitive controls and a redesigned gear selector positioned behind the column free up extra console space, which now accommodates a 15W wireless charging pad.
Upholstery options will include premium leather or leatherette in shades like Okapi Brown and Pearl Beige. Front seats will be heated, power-adjustable, and equipped with lumbar support, while the rear bench follows a 40:20:40 split, expanding boot space from 530 liters to more than 1,500 liters.
Additional highlights include a 12-speaker SONOS sound system, customizable ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, and a powered tailgate. Safety is enhanced through ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, emergency braking, and a 360-degree camera, while a head-up display minimizes distraction. Overall, the interior is crafted to balance comfort with advanced convenience.
Engine Power and Performance
The Indian-spec 2025 Audi Q3 will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 204 hp, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system will be offered as standard, which sets it apart in its segment.
The SUV is expected to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in under 8 seconds, ensuring effortless overtaking and brisk highway performance. Multiple drive modes, including Comfort, Dynamic, Auto, and Individual, allow customization of steering response, suspension feel, and throttle input.
Built on the MQB platform, the Q3 combines refined handling with a plush ride, absorbing potholes with ease while maintaining agility around corners. With a towing capacity of up to 1,500 kg, it also offers a degree of practicality beyond urban use.
