The XUV 3XO EV AX5 carries a modern and sporty electric SUV look. It features R16 diamond cut alloy wheels that give it a premium stance without being flashy. LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs with integrated turn indicators, and infinity LED tail lamps make the car stand out both during the day and at night. Practical elements like roof rails, rear spoiler, rear wiper with wash, and rear defogger add everyday usability. Auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers further reduce driver effort, especially during city driving and monsoons.

Interior

Inside the AX5, the cabin feels smart and comfortable with a well balanced mix of technology and convenience. The dual zone climate control keeps both front occupants comfortable, while the height adjustable driver seat helps find the right driving position easily. Leatherette steering adds a premium touch, and thoughtful storage spaces like the front centre armrest and rear armrest with cup holders make long drives easier. Rear AC vents and a 60:40 split rear seat ensure comfort and flexibility for passengers.

Infotainment

The AX5 is well equipped in the tech department. It gets twin 26.03 cm screens, one for infotainment and one for the digital instrument cluster. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay make smartphone connectivity seamless. Built in Alexa with online navigation allows voice based commands, while the six speaker audio system delivers clear and balanced sound. Steering mounted audio controls ensure minimal distraction while driving.

Battery, Motor, Range and Charging

The AX5 uses a 39.4 kWh battery paired with a motor producing 110 kW or 150 PS and 310 Nm torque. Power is sent to the front wheels, and the single pedal drive mode makes city driving smooth and relaxed. The MIDC range is rated at 351 km, while MIDC Part 1 range goes up to 456 km. Charging is convenient with CCS Type II support. A 7.2 kW AC charger takes about 6.5 hours for a full charge, while a 50 kW DC fast charger can charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent in around 50 minutes.

Safety

Safety is a strong area for the AX5. It comes with six airbags, electronic stability program, electronic parking brake with auto hold, cruise control, and tyre pressure monitoring system. A rear view camera assists in parking, and features like passive keyless entry and push button start add both safety and convenience.

Exterior

The AX7L builds on the AX5 with a more premium and tech rich exterior. It upgrades to R17 diamond cut alloy wheels that enhance road presence. LED front fog lamps improve visibility in poor weather, while the auto dimming IRVM reduces glare during night driving. The standout feature is the Skyroof panoramic sunroof, which makes the cabin feel more open and airy. The 360 degree surround view system with blind view monitor significantly improves parking and low speed maneuvering.

Interior

Soft touch leatherette is used on the dashboard and door trims, giving the cabin a plush finish. Leatherette seats add comfort and visual appeal, while illuminated sun visors with vanity mirrors improve convenience for both front and co driver seats. A cooled glove box keeps drinks and small items chilled, which is very useful in hot weather.

Infotainment

The infotainment setup remains familiar but gets richer in experience. The highlight here is the Harman Kardon premium audio system with seven speakers, an amplifier, and a subwoofer. Dolby Atmos support creates an immersive sound experience that truly stands out in this segment. USB Type C fast charging ports ensure quicker device charging for modern smartphones.

Battery, Motor, Range and Charging

Mechanically, the AX7L remains identical to the AX5. It uses the same 39.4 kWh battery and 150 PS motor with 310 Nm torque. The driving range and charging times are also the same, making it equally capable for daily commutes and occasional highway runs. Buyers choosing AX7L are mainly paying for enhanced comfort, technology, and safety rather than performance changes.

Safety

The AX7L takes safety to the next level with Level 2 ADAS features. These include advanced driver assistance systems designed to reduce fatigue and improve overall driving confidence. The 360 degree camera system adds another layer of safety during parking and tight city driving. All standard safety features from AX5 are retained, ensuring complete peace of mind.
