Mahindra has launched the BE 6 Formula E Freedom Edition in India, shortly after introducing the BE 6 Sporteq Edition. The new Formula E Freedom Edition is available in two variants, Three and Four, and comes exclusively with the larger 79kWh battery pack.
Prices for the BE 6 Formula E Freedom Edition start at Rs 24.45 lakh and go up to Rs 26.95 lakh (ex-showroom, excluding charger). Bookings are now open, while deliveries are scheduled to begin on August 26, 2026.
The Formula E Freedom Edition is offered in two variants, with the fully loaded Four variant positioned above the Three variant.
| Variant | Battery | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Formula E Three | 79kWh | Rs 24.45 lakh |
| Formula E Four | 79kWh | Rs 26.95 lakh |
Both prices are ex-showroom and exclude the cost of the charger.
There are no major exterior design changes on the BE 6 Formula E Freedom Edition. The electric SUV continues with the same styling as the existing BE 6 Formula E Edition.
It is available in four exterior colour options, including a new Rosso Impulso shade. The new colour gives the Formula E Freedom Edition a more distinctive appearance while retaining the existing exterior design.
Inside, both variants of the Formula E Freedom Edition are offered exclusively with a black and Firestorm Orange interior theme. Unlike the BE 6 Sporteq Edition, the Formula E Freedom Edition continues with Mahindra's dual-screen dashboard with the signature halo layout.
The cabin also gets a range of premium and technology-focused features, with the Four variant adding several additional features over the Three.
BE 6 Formula E Freedom Edition Features
The Three variant comes equipped with features such as an infinity roof, LED DRL animation, powered driver's seat with memory function, adaptive suspension, carpet lamps and virtual engine sounds.
The Four variant adds more technology and safety equipment, including Google Gemini support, live head-up display, auto parking, Level 2 ADAS, a knee airbag and button start. It also gets Capsense virtual engine sound technology.
The Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Freedom Edition is available exclusively with the 79kWh battery pack. The battery powers a single electric motor that drives the rear wheels.
The electric motor produces 281bhp and 380Nm of torque, while the claimed range stands at 683km on a single charge.
Mahindra BE 6 Formula E Freedom Edition Deliveries
