2025 Renault Kiger Variants Explained

The 2025 Renault Kiger Facelift marks a significant refresh for the compact SUV, combining sharper styling, new colors, and enhanced safety across the lineup. Offered in four trimsAuthentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotionthe facelift brings a clear distinction between variants while maintaining Renault’s aggressive value-for-money positioning. 

Engine choices remain the familiar 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol (72 PS/96 Nm) with 5-speed manual or AMT options, and the more powerful 1.0-litre turbo petrol (100 PS; 160 Nm MT, 152 Nm CVT) available on higher trims.

On the outside, the facelift introduces a bolder front grille, reworked bumpers, new skid plates, and fresh LED DRLs, while the rear is highlighted by redesigned C-shaped LED tail lamps with dynamic indicators. The Emotion trim elevates the look with diamond-cut alloys, LED fog lamps, and dual-tone paint schemes such as Stealth Black with Fire Red roof.

 Inside, material quality has improved, with upgrades rolling out variant by variant: Evolution gains an 8-inch touchscreen, Techno adds wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and roof rails, while Emotion tops the range with ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and a 17.8-cm digital cluster.

Safety is now stronger than ever, with six airbags, ESP, hill-start assist, and TPMS standard across all variants, making the facelifted Kiger a more complete package and ready to fight with cars like Venue, Fronx, and Kyalq.

Authentic 

Priced at ₹6.29 lakh (ex-showroom), the Authentic trim is refreshingly well-equipped for an entry-level compact SUV. Under the bonnet, it runs a 1.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. 

You still get LED DRLs, the updated C-shaped rear light signature, shark-fin antenna, satin-silver skid plates, and mystery-black ORVMs—details that elevate its appearance above the price tag. Inside, the cabin includes new black fabric upholstery, a center armrest, 60/40 split-folding rear seats, and an 8.9-cm LED instrument cluster. Safety features are robust and include six airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, ESP, ISOFIX, hill-start assist, TPMS, and rear parking sensors. 

For urban-focused buyers, there’s also a dealer-fitted CNG option (₹79,500) available with full factory backing, improving long-term cost efficiency.

Upgraded prices: ₹7.09 lakh (MT) and ₹7.59 lakh (Easy-R AMT). The Evolution variant branches into automatic convenience while keeping the same dependable NA engine. Inside, it gains a 20.3-cm touchscreen with Bluetooth and smartphone mirroring, steering-mounted controls, electrically adjustable mirrors, rear AC vents, and day/night IRVM. 

The AMT in city traffic gives a seamless drive without abandoning value or safety it shares all the essential airbags and stability systems from the Authentic.

This is where the facelift’s performance and tech steps up significantly. Prices are: ₹8.19 lakh (NA MT), ₹8.69 lakh (NA Easy-R AMT), and ₹9.99 lakh (Turbo X-Tronic CVT). A 1.0 litre turbo engine enters the lineup, delivering 100 PS with up to 160 Nm (NA) or 152 Nm (Turbo CVT). 

The upgrades include projector headlights, roof rails, redesigned skid plates, embossed upholstery, auto AC, wireless phone mirroring, a digital cluster, and wireless charging on higher configurations. Safety remains robust with full six-airbag coverage and ESC.

Emotion 

This flagship variant covers the full spectrum: ₹9.14 lakh (NA MT), ₹9.99 lakh (Turbo MT), and ₹11.29 lakh (Turbo CVT). It elevates the Kiger with red-accented brake calipers, chrome tailgate garnish, diamond-cut alloys, LED fog lamps, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, a cooled glovebox, wireless charging, and a premium Arkamys 3D audio system. 

You also get a 17.78-cm digital instrument display, multi-view 360-degree camera, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, fatigue alert, cruise control, and remote engine start. Safety remains comprehensive across the board.
